Yes, Interlub develops lubrication solutions tailored to the unique operating conditions and performance goals of its customers. Interlub's R&D team develops more than 70 new specialty oils, greases, and release agents annually. To date, Interlub has developed more than 2,500 lubricants.




Yes, Interlub manufactures over 6,000 metric tons of specialty lubricating greases, high-viscosity oils, coatings, and release agents annually in its world-class manufacturing facilities. To assure the optimal quality of its products, Interlub's Operations team has adopted a wide range of quality standards and certifications.

In 1998, Interlub was one of the first companies to adopt the ISO:9001 standard. Due to its commitment to environmental responsibility, the company adopted the ISO:14001 standard in 2010. Yes, Interlub is a leading developer and manufacturer of high temperature lubricating greases. Interlub's portfolio covers different types of thickeners (Polyurea, Bontonite, PTFE, Calcium Sulfonate) and different base oils (Esters, Polyol Ester, PFPE, Silicon, Synthetic Hydrocarbon Greases).

Interlub's high temperature greases are highly resistant to oxidation, maintain their viscosity and control excessive evaporation of the base oils when exposed to high operating temperatures.

Yes, Interlub is a leading developer and manufacturer of water washout resistant lubricating greases (hydrophobic greases).

Interlub's portfolio covers different types of thickeners (Polyurea and Lithium Complex), additives (corrosion inhibitors, anti-oxidants, anti-wear) and base oils (PAO, esters, silicones).

Interlub recommends hydrophobic greases when mechanical components operate in conditions where they are frequently exposed to water or high humidity.

This includes the continuous casting processes in the steel industry, components used in different food and beverage industries where washdowns are frequent, marine applications, outdoor machinery or any application where condensation or moisture penetration may occur.

Interlub is highly committed to helping students get more out of their education. For this reason, we collaborate on a regular basis with universities from around the world.

In 2021, Interlub launched Inmersión, its Applied Scientific Development program. For participation, we selected students from leading research programs in the Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara (UAG), Universidad Iberoamericana (Ibero), Universidad de Guadalajara (U de G), and the Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Occidente (ITESO). The program exposes young Mexican scientists to the industry's latest developments in biotechnology, nanotechnology, rheology, thermogravimetry, and tribology. Learning occurs through a series of courses, workshops, and lab access.

Since 2014, Interlub's R&D team has collaborated with researchers and PhD students from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Moreover, Interlub's C-suite has hosted the Sloan School of Management's MIT GoLab program on two occasions (2014, 2015).

Interlub is an official training partner for the Tecnológico de Monterrey's TEC-21 program. As part of the program, we've sponsored two Semestre-i (2015, 2018) and two Semana-i (2018, 2019) groups, as well as the featured case study "Interlub Group: Strategic Evolution in Times of Crisis (2021)."
